"But mom, EVERYBODY has one except me!"

These cute little creatures were released in 1993 by Ty Inc. and soon became a huge phenomenon. They became "the" item to collect and people flocked to the stores to get the latest beanie babies for their collections, pushing other parents aside to do it if necessary.

Easy Bake Oven

Picture
The Easy Bake Oven was every girl's dream and every mom's nightmare. Little girls (and boys in some cases) could feel just like mommy baking cakes and cookies, but now you did not have to pretend to bake, you could actually make real food you could eat! It was not the greatest quality of food, but the fact that you made it yourself made all the difference.

Toys such as "Furby" and "Tickle - Me - Elmo" were guaranteed to provide a fun time for kids. These toys interacted with children, providing hours of fun (and loud) entertainment. In 1992 the Barney toy was a big hit with kids too.

How were disputes solved in the 90's?

Eeny Meeny Miney Mo of course! Or Rocks Paper Scissors...
Playgrounds were filled with kids trading Pokemon and Yugio Cards!
